I don't know about you, but if you are anything like me you have brought into buying tools, apps and different Subscriptions to help in your Business needs. Ever hear of the SHINY OBJECT SYNDROME…..
The problem is most of these things are on subscription mode and most likely auto pay. You are being nickle and dimed year after year.
I created this spreadsheet initially for myself because my expenses were getting out of hand. I know crazy right. The truth is I had no idea what I was paying for until I started tracking it.
I am giving this to you because I care and wantt to help you make good choices. I personally have save over $1000 a year using this worksheet, and it is my hope that it will help you too.
When you track your expenses you tend to really evaluate what you need and what can you do without. You can downsize your tools. Here are a few suggestions that really helped me.
- With Subscriptions can you change to a yearly plan. This will help you save as most give a discount on annual payments.
- Are there free tools that you can use – there are so many options here. Some tools have a free version until you can upgrade.
- Is there an affiliate program – you may want to promote what you use to cover the cost.
What I do know is that when you track cost, you tend to save. It works for me, it has work for a few people I know that have used this worksheet. One person saved over $500 per year and another over $800 per year so far.
